FAQ

Before you install.

Does EZ Voucher submit the voucher for me?

EZ Voucher helps enter your time. The attorney remains responsible for reviewing the information and completing the final certification and submission in OIDS or CJA.

Which file formats and case-management systems are supported?

EZ Voucher reads supported PDF invoices, Excel worksheets, and CSV files. See the tested systems above or use the bill checker to try yours.

Are my billing files uploaded or stored?

EZ Voucher processes your billing files locally in your browser. If you choose to send a sample or include a bill with a support report, support receives that file by email. Please remove confidential information before sending a sample.

Do I need an OIDS or CJA eVoucher account?

You need an OIDS account for the Alabama version. For the federal version, you need access to CJA eVoucher.

How does the free trial work?

Each service offers eligible attorneys a free trial for one bill or voucher. The trial lasts seven days or until EZ Voucher successfully enters and verifies it. You can choose a different bill or voucher while the trial is incomplete. If the trial expires before completion, sign in to Manage Account to restart it for another seven days. Once the trial is completed, a subscription is needed to enter additional bills. You can still prepare and review bills.

How much does EZ Voucher cost?

$49 per month per attorney, plus applicable taxes, after the one-voucher trial. The Alabama subscription includes unlimited vouchers and billing entries. CJA is $49/month, or $69/month for OIDS + CJA.

Does EZ Voucher support federal vouchers?

EZ Voucher supports Federal CJA-20 service entries. The attorney reviews the result and certifies and submits the voucher in CJA. CJA-30 and expenses are not included in this release.
